Open Windows

My piece especially focuses on the lonely characters in the windows, as seen from a voyeuristic vantage point- like a scene from an old movie or noir novel. All these characters are seemingly unaware of each other, and lost in some deep thought. Worries, anxiety, and generally a solemn state defines each lonely figure. I like to think of it as a snapshot which captures the broken dreams, loneliness, questions of paths in life and things like career choices. Caught at the end of the day, and in the morning light the composition is all about hopes and dreams- many unfulfilled, and the monotony and struggles of daily life.
