2013 ArtPrize Entry

This interactive sculpture hypothesizes what happens as synthetic lifeforms take the place of the organic while exploring the balance between pollution and sustainability. The piece was inspired by barnacle formations and tessellates over the wall to create luminous patterns. It is a interactive piece, allowing patrons to transform the color and thus the experience.
