This large painting was started on the floor of my studio. I first apply an overall background color. Then I start painting or writing my thoughts. I don't have a finished vision in mind when I get started. These canvases have a lot of paint on them so they take a long time to dry. From the floor it moves to a wall. At this stage, I make purposeful choices and edit and fine tune my work.
