Rick DeVos, Or Else

2013 ArtPrize Entry
Add to Collection

This "ransom note" is a direct short cut to the essential aspiration of ALL artists who enter Artprize. We each think we have a good chance to win the TOP MONEY. Why else do so many artists from around the world enter? Why else do so many curious people fill the streets of Grand Rapids to observe and enjoy the amazing and wonderful "ARTbuzz" created by the inspired vision of the DeVos family's generosity? Why else would I be open and transparent about my motive, using the license plates that I have created and sliced up, incorporating them into a tongue-in-cheek ransom note? I believe the voting public will understand and vote for me. OR ELSE !! However, if Rick DeVos or the FBI take this too seriously as an actual threat, I'm in big trouble.
