This is a photography collaboration that requires the contribution of local Grand Rapidians as well as visitors to the downtown GR area. Orange footprint decals have been placed on sidewalks near 6 downtown Grand Rapids "landmarks." By way of flyers, stickers, Facebook, and Twitter, we hope to get as many people involved as possible. Contributors are asked to stand on the footprints, take a picture of the "landmark" the footprints are pointed toward, upload their image(s) to www.GRphotoproject.com by emailing the image file to GRPP@dphoto.com (it will automatically upload) and wait to see the final masterpiece on display during the ArtPrize exhibition! We plan to combine all photos uploaded to create 6 final images with an amazing effect. Through this collaboration, everyday people get the chance to become ArtPrize artists and see their work on display. Names of all contributors will be on display with the final work.
