God's Kitchen

2012 ArtPrize Venue
  • Default

God’s Kitchen, a program of Catholic Charities West Michigan, is located in the Heartside Neighborhood of Grand Rapids. We are directly across the street from Cathedral Square, a 2012 Artprize Showcase Venue. God's Kitchen is dedicated to serving the homeless and hungry with dignity and respect. In this location, we serve a free meal Monday-Saturday from 12:30-2:00 pm and Sunday's from 2:00-4:30pm, to some of the areas most materially poor men and women. We have 35 linear feet of wall space for a painting or mural as well as 84 square feet of space near our front window for a sculpture or installation.

God’s Kitchen is supportive of the Heartside Art District and is excited to be a part of Artprize again this year!
