With this painting I am exploring notions of color and material. I try to find a balance between chance occurrences the materials provide and a more careful deliberation on what should be placed where. I am interested in the natural world and the negative ions that exist within specific natural environments. I aim to imbue my paintings, such as this, with abundant levels of negative ions.
