Gary Mesa-Gaido has a studio in Morehead, Kentucky, where he teaches at Morehead State University. He received his M.F.A. degree from Ohio University and B.A. degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Mesa-Gaido’s work has been recognized with two Kentucky Arts Council Al Smith Fellowships. An active artist for over 20 years, he has participated in international, national and regional juried and invitational exhibitions. Diverse venues hosting his work include the Abraham Lubelski Gallery in New York City, Museo ItaloAmericano in San Francisco, the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art, Dab Art and H Gallery (CA), and the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art (GA).
