The first annual Best of Creston Street Fair and Festival invites you to the northeast side of Grand Rapids to celebrate all that the Creston neighborhood has to offer. Come celebrate Creston Brewery's one year anniversary! Join in with Lions & Rabbits' paint-by-numbers community mural! From Graydon's Crossing to Stonesthrow and on down Plainfield Ave. Activities, artist markets, music, and more, all day long Saturday, August 19.

The event location covers the area just north of Leonard Street from Graydon’s Crossing along Plainfeld Avenue up to Lafayette Street. Activities are available for children and adults alike and include a family-friendly scavenger hunt, arts and crafts activities for kids, an Artist Market, and separate raffles for adults and children. Many of the local businesses will be offering their own activities as well. Lions and Rabbits will host a paint-by-number mural on the outside of their building, while Bradley Salon will offer a photo booth and Glamour and Grit gives kids the opportunity to create their own flower crown. Additionally, “Best of Creston” fare will be offered along the corridor including ice cream carts and other eats and drinks, featuring food and beverages from local restaurants. Creston Brewery caps it off with a series of bands and the chance to relax with a locally made craft beer. A few of the activities may require a modest fee but the business district is excited to welcome the public to this enjoyable and entertaining event.

The businesses of the Creston neighborhood have organized to create this event with the help of many area sponsors, including title sponsor Stonesthrow.
