I began my artist journey of painting during a period of time when all hope seemed to be lost. Like most, art has a special place inside all of us. Most often times there is little to no preconceived idea as to what I was going to paint nor where it would lead me. Literally, each brush stroke was a journey in and of itself. During the process I realized that a story was unfolding right before my eyes and through the story telling experience, I found others connecting to my experience. Through the years I've created paintings as a healing process for myself, but also for other's that have had difficulties or even loss of people close to them. My skills as an artist have been stretched, often creating custom pieces without meeting an individual. Gallery by Hope was established and meant to create beautiful works of art as a reminder to an individual that there is hope, even when everything around them seems hopeless. Each painting represents a journey of life, and will speak to the individuals' that need a reminder in whatever season of life they are in that there is hope. My work is currently being displayed at local Art shows and is a part of a collective team of women, "Salt and Light Collective", growing their gifts and abilities in many forms of artist expression.
