I'm a painter and sculptor living in Grand Haven, Michigan. I've worked as a carpenter, handyman, minister, art teacher and artist. My work is the product of contemplation within landscapes and seascapes, and theological reflection on the physicality of making art. I work through traditional and non-traditional media influenced by the Arte Povera Movement and Japanese- style painting. A graduate of The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology (M.Div.) and Taylor University (B.A.), I delight in the ongoing work of sharing life with my wife, Heather and our four kids.
