Förtrollade Skogen

“Förtrollade Skogen” -- Swedish for “Enchanted Forest” -- takes a whimsical look through child’s eyes at an otherwise foreboding Scandinavian forest. The painting mixes elements of fact and folklore using native flora, Norwegian stave church architecture and inquisitive mountain creatures, and unfolds them all in an untold tale that is lightly seasoned by the early Swedish illustrator, John Bauer.
