Diane's passion and eye for art, architecture, and design is self-evident in her work with her years of an established portfolio. Her custom and original designs of interior surface finishes for furniture, walls, ceilings, and wall art are at the heart of her success. Her work has been featured in home magazines, covers, and in beautiful homes and businesses in Michigan, New York, and Florida. She has been selling her talents in the arts and design industry since 1997, first with her own design line of children's hand painted clothing, furniture, and murals, and then with her decorative finishing business, Faux-Real Studios since 2001. Diane has studied with master artists all over the world and now she teaches decorative finishing classes. Her business Faux-Real Studios has grown over the last sixteen years into a team of talented artists and experienced finishers that offer all aspects of custom interior art and finishing. Inspiration for this body of work came from Diane's obsession for nature and love for water, whether it be a stream, river, lake or the ocean. She is fascinated with how delicate the balance of it all is, and how dependent we are on this balance. Diane hopes to capture awareness of the beauty and balance of our planets waters with her panel art and bring it to the interiors markets for glass and acrylic surface applications.
