SIMPLICITY One culture that glitters an example of simplicity are the Chinese. All efforts they live and breathe are carefully thought out before engaging in and at all times, taking in the consideration of others before themselves. This simple bicycle, which has been custom made, probably by its owner, has stories to tell. Where it’s travels has led it, the people who’ve sat on its seat, (now worn and uncomfortable) were the riders happy, sad, going to work, picking up a brother or sister etc. If sharing this story, in form of this painting, creates and invokes a very progressive and positive portion of happiness and calmness about “simplicity” in our lives and just how important it is for us to incorporate it daily……..then we’ve both shared a new gateway with each other, that wasn’t there before this moment. We’ve made a new and exciting connection. We’ve found a way to come together as one people—caring, selfless and putting the warfare of others before ourselves.
