Whispers of the Prairie

2013 ArtPrize Entry
Add to Collection

The first American lawn: Prairie. Going back to our roots. "Whispers of the Prairie" is an animated video installation. "Whispers" celebrates the medley of native flowers that thrive in our forests, parks, and in many of our lawns. Restoration with native plants is a sustainable alternative to the monotony of turf grass. And, with their own quiet presence, they are stunningly beautiful.
