Uniform Variations

This project is a comment on the ways we reflect on our lives from the vantage of late middle age. The paintings depict men in vintage uniforms. The uniform represents youthful ideals and aspirations, expectations and certainties. The paradox of older men in uniform invites the thoughtful consideration of universal themes of fulfillment and regret, redemption and transcendence.
