Artist & Connection Information

We regret that we will not be participating as a venue for ArtPrize 2013. Davenport University has been a continuing sponsor for Artprize and other local events. Since the opening of the state of the art facility at 45 Ottawa in downtown Grand Rapids, DU has another opportunity to be involved by providing the facility as an Artprize venue. DU is located in the high'traffic downtown district, on the same block as the B.O.B. and the GRAM, seeing thousands of viewers every day. The University is looking for artists who wish to display two dimensional works in the windows facing the streets. This will allow 24 hour viewing from the sidewalk without the facility being open. Each window is lighted so visitors will be able to view the art long after dark. The windows are split into two very large openings that measure 48"x48" and four smaller openings below that measure 22"x22".
