During my childhood I would create images from my imagination often in the margins of my books or in the countless notepads. In my formative years of art school, advertising, animation, and being a visual artist, the random drawings and spontaneous doodles became a symbiotic language that communicated ideas and transported my thoughts to a joyful place of endless possibilities. Today over forty years later those same spontaneous images and freestyle designs have been painted on large outdoor murals, clothing, canvas, vehicles, pizza boxes, sculptures, and a variety of other surfaces. The effects are the same now as they were then, to inspire creativity and transport the viewer to a joyful place of endless possibilities. I embrace every opportunity to create art that inspires and entertains. My entry "Hooked on Michigan" was inspired by the thousands of fantastic lures used for fishing and how they can be looked at as unique forms of art and design.
