Points of View
2012 ArtPrize Entry2-D 3-D Performance Interactive Traditional Abstract Conceptual . . . ALL of these words accurately describe Dan Nelson's Artistic Montage, "Points of View": 58 canvases suspended on various planes so that hidden "Meta-Images" of Grand Rapids appear ONLY when you view the piece through one of the "magic squares." Dan did ALL of the original painting during ArtPrize 2012. He returns in 2013 to upgrade and finish what he started. Please watch the YouTube video, below to get the complete picture of Dan's one-of-a-kind masterpiece.

Venue & Connection Information
The dimensions of the piece make the location critical. Not only is it 22 feet long and 4 feet deep, it needs to be viewable from several points about 15-20 feet out in front of the artwork. I would also like to have music playing while I paint throughout the 3 weeks of ArtPrize. There were some issues with people playing music quite loudly last year, but I received no complaints, and many compliments about my choice (and volume) of music. My host (Barb at The Bob) spoke very highly of my presentation.
