Hi my name is Corey. You may not know me but I bet you have seen my work somewhere. I've been working as a craftsman for 25 years making highly detailed woodworking on a contract basis for other peoples work and I have done over 10,000 projects since I was 15 years old. I've worked on projects for Castles and Pipe Organs and Gothic Cathedrals and very detailed wood projects. Many woodworkers come to me to do some on the finer details on their projects. And very few people know of me outside of that "woodworking" circle. But I've wanted to be known as an artist all of my life... Because I've had to learn to be an artist to be good at my craft. I have dedicated my life to it and I love what I do so much that I want to share it with as many people as possible. But I very rarely get to see people's reactions when they see the work I do. I was in artprize last year but due to a family tragedy I was not able to talk to very many people about the piece. My journey to being known as an artist has been very difficult and long. I'd like to enter an artprize piece that tells a story. I need another chance. I'm hoping it's finally my time. And I want to just be there to soak in people's reaction to it. As it would be nice to be known as an artist, even if it were just for a brief moment in my life. Best, Corey
