"Carpe Diem" at El Corazon is 5' x 13' mixed media on canvas. My painting is in the Heartside District, in a restaurant called El Corazon, which means "the heart," and it depicts a heart born under a rising sun. A heart within a heart within a heart. The heart turns into a goddess in a stained glass depiction, but then the woman breaks free and begins to dance. When she gets spinning, a galaxy is born in her skirt. "Carpe Diem" means "seize the day." Model for work: Tracy Olmsted
