This piece was created after doing some work in Haiti. I was given instructions to try and mimic Michelangelo's artist process, see what the material wants to become! After I got over feeling crazy, I sat with the clay and tried to see what it wanted to be, I tried to discover what would come out of it. "Listen to the Breath" is the product of this exercise depicting community and raw humanity.
