My particular interest is in finding and expressing the connections between humans and our natural world. We live in a world in which we view Man as supreme but one in which we are totally dependent on a living earth. This view is out of balance and leads to abuse and misuse of our environment. My images are intended to help restore some appreciation of the need for that balance. This series of photographs from lakes Superior and Michigan is intended to cause us to examine our connections to those lakes on a deeper level, to see these waters as abstractions and metaphor for our own spiritual existence. These are four framed photographs in metal frames requiring no special installation, but needing good lighting. They need to be hung on a single wall if possible and will have a description of the work hung as well. They need to be hung inside. Each framed image is about 40 inches wide and 22 inches high.
