THIS PAINTING IS DEDICATED TO PARENTS OF SON'S IN THE MILITARY...... In the beginning we gave him life...... but in the end he gives us freedom..... He is a man, a soldier, and our beloved son......... He’s our hero, but he’s also our child......But no matter the battle, there is a guardian angel watching over him ....... The classical guardian angel is painted showing of an exquisite being of dramatic light and color. Appearing as a warrior draped in flowing fiery red expressing emotion. The movement of the angel is painted in foreshortening as he hands over the sword. Along with long flowing pure hair, the beautiful angels face is painted with a glow expressing love, comfort, and peace. The soldier on the ground is swathed in white around his body and head showing his innoncence and good.The way the light and shadows play on the figures gives the painting a three dimensional look. Both of the figures are modeled after my son who is in the Navy.
