The Human Condition

Canvas Voice's avatar Canvas Voice

THE HUMAN CONDITION refers to our capacity for good and evil, our state of human frailty and our troubled human nature. It is the root of human conflict and the riddle of life. And while the universally accepted ideals are to be loving and happy and successful, humans are also contrarily selfish and sad and capable of failure. The inability to explain this paradoxical concept has been the burden of human life, THE HUMAN CONDITION. THE HUMAN CONDITION installation is most reflective of this concept. It celebrates the condition by creating an avenue of connection between the public and the raw emotion of the art. We invite you to get lost in the lyrical verse and to find some common ground between our human experience and yours. Strike up a conversation, interact with the excerpts from our blogs, and connect with the paradox of THE HUMAN CONDITION. THE HUMAN CONDITION spans 41' x 11', and is made up of 139 individual canvases, 16 center piece canvases, and 7 wood statements.
