Feeding our families is a common need worldwide . Where we purchase or obtain our food is as varied as the culture in which it is purchased. Most countries have local Farmers markets, making the step in farm to table an exciting sensory experience. I try to visit local Farmers Markets wherever I travel and experience local food, smells and meet interesting people Grand Rapids Fulton Street Market has been my local source since our children were at home and now our grandchildren enjoy going there too. This is the central piece of my work, with additional smaller paintings of other markets i have experienced on my travels near and far.
