Parking is a very popular question when coming downtown for ArtPrize. Where do I park? How much will it cost? What’s free? With everyone trying to park, there are multiple options for you to find a location. Here are the few that will help you along...

City and DASH Parking Lots

There are many parking lots around Grand Rapids. Make sure you are coming prepared and planning ahead. Two maps that are extremely helpful when planning your visit to ArtPrize are linked below:

These map will direct you to all city parking lots and ramps, as well as DASH lots. A few things to point out:

- The Monroe Center Ramp provides one FREE hour of parking for those arriving between 8 am and 6 pm.
- Parking is FREE after 5pm in the following surface lots: Ionia Mason, North Monroe, Scribner, North Ionia, Area 7, Area 8, and Area 9 (all found on the city map)
- If you park at a DASH lot, chances are the DASH bus stop is close by

Parking Meters

Parking at a meter is another really great option for ArtPrize. These fill up fast so have a back up plan when coming downtown. Most parking meters are FREE after 6pm Monday thru Friday. The majority of parking meters are FREE all day on Saturdays - marked if not. On Sundays they are all FREE all day!

Register for an account with Parkmobile.com. This provides the ability to pay by cell phone when you park at a meter in Grand Rapids with the cost of parking (plus a small convenience fee) charged to your credit card account. It's easy, convenient, and when on street parking becomes free, the charges stop! Remember do not park at a meter that has been hooded.

Rockford Construction

Rockford Construction is offering FREE parking! They are also a venue, located at 601 First Street NW, who holds 5 ArtPrize artists. So go check out their new location, explore through their artists and adventure on the Westside. All parking locations and detail are listed below in this map.

For your convenience, DASH to the Hill stops are located all along Seward. So jump on the DASH and ride into the downtown area.
