ArtPrize HUBs are a great place to start your ArtPrize adventure. Stop by any HUB location where a friendly volunteer can make sure you’re ready to vote for your favorite entries, help you map your unique ArtPrize route, equip you with one of our new Experience Guides and an enhanced Metro Pass, give you your free ArtPrize Nine Event Guide and help you make the most of your ArtPrize experience!

Grant-Winning Artwork:

ArtPrize awarded $175,000 in grants to artists ahead of the ninth annual event through a series of granting programs intended to help artists realize their large-scale installations in Grand Rapids. You won't want to miss the 40 artist entries listed in the links below.

Mobile App & Voting: 

Our mobile app is the ultimate ArtPrize multi-tool. Download for free (details below) to explore artist entries, venues, events and happenings; stay in-the-know on all things ArtPrize; and vote for your favorite entries. Cast your first vote at ArtPrize, then vote from anywhere in the world.

Tours & Guides: 

ArtPrize is a huge event, and it can be difficult to know where to start. We’ve put that obstacle to rest with our new suite of Guided Tours and free, self-guided Experience Guides. Getting To & Around ArtPrize:

ArtPrize season is a busy time in Grand Rapids, and whether you’re coming from near or far, it can seem a bit daunting figuring out how to get around. Thankfully, we have plenty of advice for you when it comes to your transportation needs whether it be walking, parking, biking or taking the bus.

Events & Activities:

Calling all film and music lovers! Returning to ArtPrize Nine will be ArtPrize On Screen and the HopCat WYCE Blue Bridge Music Festival. ArtPrize On Screen will highlight critically acclaimed work selected from local and national talent consisting of feature-length films, accompanied by Michigan-made short films. The HopCat WYCE Blue Bridge Music Festival will offer visitors two epic nights of FREE musical entertainment featuring musicians and bands from across the country. Don't miss out on these events!

Education:

ArtPrize offers an array of educational programs for families and kids of all ages to participate in including STEAM Village, ArtPrize Lab Studios and Partner Programs. Kids of all ages will have the opportunity to unleash their creative potential through various hands-on learning activities throughout the 19 day event.

Volunteering:

ArtPrize anticipates that over 1,000 volunteers will seize the opportunity to welcome more than 500,000 visitors to Grand Rapids for the ninth annual event.
