Our exhibition area is designed to display art, and we stage monthly art exhibits throughout the year. We have abundant light, and wall space that is fully equipped to hang paintings, with a flexible lighting system. Our gathering space is ideal for display of glass works and sculptures. In addition to the regular ArtPrize hours, your work will be visible to those who attend our worship services, meetings, concerts, and other events that happen at Bethlehem Church - we are a busy place! Here are some comments from Alison DeRooy, 2011 ArtPrize exhibitor: “It was great to exhibit my ArtPrize entry at Bethlehem Lutheran Church! I had no problems setting up my exhibit. The staff and volunteers were very helpful.” “The exhibit space is open, with lots of natural light. It’s a terrific place to display.” “The location seems to attract a more discerning clientele than more crowded venues.”
Bethlehem Church is a worshiping and witnessing community, centered in God’s grace, growing together in faith, putting that faith into action. In 2007, Bethlehem Church relocated from our former site and invested in a re-purposed former parking garage in the Heartside neighborhood. Our ministry includes Hill Child Development Center, now in its 42nd year. Bethlehem's Objectives: Activate the Faithful (Personal Spiritual Growth), Express Ourselves as a Grace-centered Community (Discipleship), Strengthen and Develop Spiritual and Physical Outreach Partnerships with the Community (Evangelism), Conduct a Comprehensive Review of Our Location and Physical plant in terms of Our Ministry (Stewardship), Optimize Worship Centered Identity – Broaden and Enrich Our Worship-Centered Community (Worship).
