Artist bio

Likes to create optical illusions both with metal sculptures or untouched nature photography. Has been very proficient at capturing lightning bolts on film, and pieces of fireworks displays. An enlarged photograph of a lightning bolt, I captured without electronics, won People's Choice Award during Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts in 1988. Also creates engraved images on acrylic sheets with a four function remote controlled LED light effect including pause and very slow color change.

Description of work: If you ever wondered what a lightning bolt looks like in a different colors, then this colorful creation will delight your senses. This creation of 4 individual 2' by 4' plastic sheets with massive lightning bolt engraved into surface, has side lighting by 24 LED rigid light bars with 7 function remote control including very slow color changes and pause.
