Description of work: Geo Rhapids is a black and white photograph featuring downtown Grand Rapids. I use line and shape in my work to transform ordinary facades into extraordinary geometric works of art. Unusual perspectives, patterns, interpenetrating shapes, shadows and lines give a unique view of a city we think we know so well. Working in black and white gives the piece an even more abstract feeling.
