Artist bio I am an Artist and Art Instructor at the Ottawa County Juvenile Detention Center. I have taught here for almost 10 years. My students range in age from 7- 21 years old and come from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Art is healing for them and in Art they find a place to express themselves, lick their wounds and heal their hurts. I have seen the incredible healing effects of Art within my students and myself and I wish to share the healing power of Art with others that are dealing with hurts, struggles and loss. Art can put our emotions into a physical form when our words fail us.
