In the past 10 years,I've become more focused on my art (mostly due to the fact that my 5 kids have grown up)and have devoted countless hours in the studio perfecting my craft, which of course, is always morphing-but in a good way (most of the time)! I have work displayed in Blue Hour Gallery, Marshall, MI and Open Door Gallery, Sturgis, MI and have membership in several art organizations including the Great Lakes Pastel Society, Michigan Water Color Society and the American Watercolor Society.

Description of work: Last year, I participated with my daughter-in-law, Michelle, and titled our piece "Twilight in Grand Rapids". It was a mural mosaic incorporating paintings and photos, the over-all image being the Grand Rapids skyline(photo by Michelle). This year I'm taking the same image, cropping it, and painting 324 individual 2x2 canvas panels to create a colorful rendition of the GR skyline. The completed image will be approximately 3'x 3' plus the frame.
