Sarah Weber
Artist Biography

Sarah Weber received both her Bachelors of Fine Arts Painting (2004) and Masters of Fine Arts Painting Degree from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2007. She is currently an Adjunct instructor at Kendall College; teaching Foundations Figure Drawing.
Her paintings have been displayed in several galleries nationally including: Walker Fine Arts Gallery, Denver, CO; Lana Santorelli Gallery, New York, NY; Infusion Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; and Altered Aesthetics Gallery, Minneapolis, MN

Description of work: "The Idle hours" is derived from the enticing concept of doing nothing. To take a break from our busy scheduled lives to enjoy the lucid pleasures of simplicity. The figures within this painting trace back from the early 1800s to mid 1900s; definitive of their fashionable attire, both male and female.
