Artist eligibility
  • You are 18 years of age
  • You must show your entry at an ArtPrize registered venue
  • Your work does not infringe on third party rights
  • Submitted work is wholly owned by the artist or collaborative
  • Traveling to Grand Rapids is not required, a venue may be able to install your work
  • You must pay the $50 registration fee (non-refundable)
  • You complete registration by 5:00 p.m. EDT, May 24, 2012

Rules & details You complete a Hosting Agreement with a venue - What's this?
  • You may submit only one entry (an entry may contain multiple pieces, but will be voted on as a single unit)
  • Entries must have been completed within the last three years
  • Artists must pay a $50 registration fee (non-refundable)
  • Collaborators can only be attached to one entry
  • Collaborators pay $25 registration fee (non-refundable)
  • You are responsible for transportation and removal of work from the venue
  • You may sell your work, but it must remain in the ArtPrize exhibition until October 7, 2012
  • ArtPrize is not involved in selling the work
  • You grant ArtPrize permission to use images of your entry
  • ArtPrize is not responsible for damages to work

Important dates
  • 5:00 p.m. EDT, Thursday, May 24, 2012: artist registration ends 
  • 5:00PM EDT, Thursday, June 14, 2012: you and your venue must both sign a Hosting Agreement AND secure your connection on artprize.org
  • Noon, September 19, 2012: your work must be installed at its venue or it is not eligible for the competition
