Moonglow 103

"Moonglow 103" was created as a large 20' h x 8' wide installation. Ann's unique creative process combines camera-less image captures of actual plant material that is then redrawn in many, many layers on her computer. Ann's ArtPrize entry is printed with a very high resolution print process on betona® tiles, which are completely produced here in West Michigan and are made of 50% recycled glass. This work shows how new technology can turn ordinary surfaces into functional art.
