Living by sheer circumstance through events large and small, over time we envelope ourselves, consciously and unconsciously with the shroud of our cultural influences. What I hope to capture in my work is a myriad of reflections of the collective culture of our time. Thru the filter of my own experience as a white American female born in 1950's America, I’m compelled to think about themes of consumption, assumed entitlements, homogenization, marginalization, and obsolescence - cultural, social and political divides we’ve come to accept as normal aspects of our societal behavior.
