"Captain & the kid "is a life sized nautical themed bronze sculpture. The old captain is stooped, holding his cane and gazing out to sea. His arm rests protectively around a young sailor boy, as they share a secret vision beyond . The young boy has a look of wonder and amazement on his face, leaving the viewer to wonder..............what does he see? Past and future, young and old, experience and potential. Andy is blessed to have connected with Coopermill Bronzeworks, an outstanding foundry in Zanesville OHio. Please see his web page to view his other bronzed pieces for examples of their amazing work.

This piece will weigh approximately 650 pounds. It may be mounted on a slab of stone, which will add to the weight. It is meant to be an outdoor piece, waterfront would be ideal. Artist has a Bobcat, and must be able to access the sight with this equipment. Uplighting would be an awesome addition for evenings, but is not required.
