Agnes Grochulska is a contemporary realist painter working mainly in oils. She also enjoys creating drawings in graphite and charcoal. Agnes studied design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland. Currently, she lives in Richmond, Virginia where her paintings and drawings can be viewed in person at Eric Schindler Gallery. Her work has been shown at Dacia Gallery in New York City, The Frank Gallery and Conde Contemporary in Miami, Florida , and several pieces are in the “Del Cerro Family Collection” as well as the "DaLuz Collection". Her artwork has received several awards and has been published in the Artist’s Magazine, Drawing Magazine, The Strokes of Genius and Poets and Artists publications. Agnes is interested in a broad spectrum of themes and subjects in my art. She feels drawn to the landscape around her and try to capture the essence of the place, the moment, the feeling. Another idea that she is following is the human subject with all the emotion, meaning and importance that only the human form can carry.
