Want to intern at ArtPrize? We are hiring!
ArtPrize Interns work alongside our full time staff members on many different aspects of programming and operations. Interns will benefit from being part of our unique creative culture, working with individuals who will both mentor and allow for leadership development as we create ArtPrize 2012. We expect that our interns will identify and carry out independent projects, in addition to assisting staff across departments with general duties.
Internship may require between 10-20 hours per week leading up to the event. During ArtPrize (September 19 – October 7, 2012) additional work will be expected evenings and weekends. Applicants should direct their application, along with requirements listed below, to jobs@artprize.org

ArtPrize does not provide monetary compensation for interns, though we encourage Interns to work along with their educational institution to arrange for course credit.

Are you looking for an opportunity to get behind the scenes of one of the biggest community events around? Apply to be the Event Production Intern for ArtPrize! This summer internship will allow one individual the opportunity to work on cost-comparisons, learn application procedures for special licenses and permits, attend vendor/sponsor meetings, assist with event execution plans, and be a part of the planning for a handful of summer ArtPrize events!
Requirements
- Ideal candidates possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Displays grace under pressure in demanding environments
- Comfortable working within non-traditional hours
- Willing to be self-starters
- Ability to lift, transport, and assemble event-related materials
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for ArtPrize and the Grand Rapids community
