Artist bio

A GR native who has been operating out of his ‘Music and Movement’ studio for 5 years. Head of ‘Corey’s Rock Band Lessons’, he teaches West Michigan’s only rock band format lesson wherein he groups youths aged 7-16 into bands which rehearse, write, and then perform original and cover material on real stages for real audiences all over Michigan. As a caricaturist trained under MAD Magazine’s Tom Richmond he is a sought after entertainer for wedding receptions, corporate events, birthdays, and the like. His band (ETO) takes on multiple guises as marching band, jazz trio, pop quartet, and full on rock opera experience. His contemporary compositions for modern and butoh dance have been performed nationwide, and he has toured the country with various avant garde jazz outfits. His current and most notable project is the notorious Super Happy Funtime Burlesque show, for which he emcees as the nefarious Mr Happypants and serves as its musical director.
