The above photos of George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson show the technique for the series Mount Rushmore utilizing speeches and letters specific to each President. Individual graphics (series) depicting EACH President on Mount Rushmore all typography based. In addition to the unique look of each President the words used in creating the effect are most interesting. Each piece is its own unique history lesson. George Washington--His two inaugural addresses plus his Declaration of Neutrality speech. Thomas Jefferson--the letter he wrote to Merryweather Lewis instructing him on every aspect of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Theodore Roosevelt--His Osawatomie speech about the NEW Nationalism given two years after leaving the Presidency which was deemed by half the people the greatest speech ever given on American soil and the other half labeling him a Communist and Socialist. Abraham Lincoln--The Emancipation Proclamation and Gettysburg Address.
