Second Chance Dogs

I am always inspired by a story with a happy ending. "Second Chance Dogs" is dedicated to two rescue dogs in our extended family. The first painting, "Obie In The Desert" represents abandoned, neglected and abused dogs waiting for that special home. The second painting, "Polly's Happy Ending," speaks for itself. To give some background, Obie lives in Chicago with my nephew, his wife, and their baby, Oliver. Obie is a social dog with lots of personality who makes it his business to watch over his buddy Oliver. Polly, on the other hand, is an incredibly athletic dog. She lives in Portland, Oregon with my son, and his wife where they routinely take Polly for long runs on rugged trails. Polly's discipline and loyalty is always present, but her love for John and Caroline is genuine. The lesson learned from these two rescue dogs is that their purpose in life is to LOVE and BE LOVED!
