Urban Claustrophobia is a triptych consisting of photographs of the architecture of Lower Manhattan. New York City was one of the first cities to construct super tall skyscrapers, creating the first urban canyons. These images represent my experience of walking through these urban canyons and my documentation of the physical attributes I associate with the Lower Manhattan including Density, Verticality, and Volume. While each of the images expresses all three words, each image represents one word more than the others. Emotionally these images represent Anxiety, Ambition & Progression which I relate to personally was well. These pieces are for sale, either individually or as a set.
