Evolution of Existence - A Narrative Painting This painting was inspired by the Twilight Zone, Salvadore Dali, "How the Universe Works", and the young people of today's preoccupation with their cell phones, --------- The necessary elements for the building blocks of life are streamed down from space, from the exploding Supernova, through the Pillars of Creation, to earth through the portal linking space to earth. Ultimately these elements form the building blocks of the essence of life. ---------- At this advanced stage of existence, the human essence has been distilled into the ultimate intelligent robotic machine - the super smart cell phone. At the end of their life cycle, the human essence and phones melt away to be ultimately absorbed by the black hole at the center of the galaxy. The cycle runs indeterminately... ---------- The painting is 30" x 36". Initially created in 2015, it has been continuously twisted and tweaked. This is the final result of the continuous changing. The second picture shows some of the developmental studies - finally arriving at the finished painting. The third picture is the painting in the venue with added picture lamp.
