Students from Hudsonville Public Schools will be painting rocks to look like fish. Each student will make on rock and on the back of the rock, they will write a goal. How they will go out into the world and make it a better place. The project is based on the book Only One You. By Linda Kranz. We contacted her to make sure we had her permission to create the project. She loves the idea. The kids love the idea. We will have around 6,000 rocks painted by art students k-12th grade. A large School of brightly painted fish will swim. Ideally outside toward the river. Symbolic of our students entering the world.
