Since undergrad when I was a sculpture and painting major at The Ohio State University, I was always fascinated with the way I viewed life events, traumas, successes, and much more through the lens of different "landscapes". I began developing what I started to name as "emotional landscapes", entering into different seasons of life, emotions, and mental states of being by developing landscape type paintings. Recently I have been working on different types of landscapes based on different places I have visited, such as India, Venezuela, and personally significant places here in Michigan. I will be developing a series of 3-4 landscape paintings ranging in size from 2x3 feet to 3x4 feet.. It will be an ongoing project thought the summer. Some sample pieces of what I have been working on have been provided for reference of style. I want people to feel or remember a time and place in which they have traveled and been effected by what they've seen and experienced.
