Out of the Box

Grasman Bergsma Vote Code: 65261

Inspired by an entomology specimen cabinet that was donated to us, we worked with over 700 students from Byron Center Christian and Dutton Christian Schools to create insects from clay. In each drawer, we classified our insects by color and type. The insects sorted in the drawers are comfortable. Often we can go about our lives doing the same thing day after day and not risking anything. We tend to stay with things that are familiar. The insects that explore outside of their drawer are changing their view and seeing a bigger world. It is time to get out of your box and try something new.
