Paid: "It is Finished."

"Paid: It Is Finished" is at its core a study of the three familiar verses found in John 3:16,17, & 18. This entry dedicates one image to each verse which together form a montage of three images. Continuing in the tradition of the "Pictures of 1000 Words" art style, each of the images has been created using a foundation of words picked specifically to support and expand upon its respective verse. For the first time I've employed a secondary presentation of words which derive their identities from the images themselves which are in turn derived from the many words which provide the foundation for each image. This second order of magnitude creates one or two large words from each image that when combined with the matching words from the other images summarize the fundamental theme of this entry in five simple words. Passages that have been used in this image include the Isaiah 53, the last few chapters of each of the four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John), and the book of Romans.
