Multiplication Series

The goal of this series is to depict scenes from everyday life using methods of multiplication to give off a futuristic aesthetic and to represent an inner struggle that most people can relate to. All of the images are self portraits, which makes this series very personal to who I am. The decision to have every person in each image be the same person derives, again, from the idea that each of these scenes could include the people we surround ourselves with, but they can also be internal situations. This series is also meant to be a sort of satire on today's society. I use the methods of multiplication to poke fun at society's flaws, such as our confrontational characteristics or our self obsessed attitudes.
